Registering as a New ADE Member

For first time members, please use the following instructions to join the ADE.

  • Navigate to the registration page by selecting the “Join the ADE” button on the homepage, or the link in the right-hand sidebar of any other page.
  • Fill out the fields with the appropriate information. Username, first and last names, email, password, and project affiliation are required. Please note that any information collected here will be used in the member directory, which can only by accessed by other ADE members. Phone numbers and addresses will never be displayed.
  • Select the membership level for which you would like to register for.
  • Complete your registration by clicking the “Register” button. You will be taken to the PayPal screen. If one or several red error messages appear, please go back to the top and fill in the missing information. If a username is already in use by another individual, you will need to pick another one. If the message(s) indicate that your email is already in use, you already have an account and should follow the steps to Renew/Upgrade Your Membership.
  • When you reach the PayPal screen, you will need to either login to PayPal or select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”. Proceed with the regular PayPal payment process. The PayPal website is secured. Please note that PayPal is a secure method of payment. Credit and Debit card information is neither shared with the ADE nor stored on the ADE website.
  • Upon successfully completing your payment, you will receive an automated email message confirming your membership. You may now use the username and password you created in order to access member restricted information and to check your current membership status. If your membership expires, you will no longer be able to access this content.

Renewing/Upgrading Membership

For returning members needing to renew or upgrade their membership.

  • Navigate to the registration page by selecting the “Join the ADE” button on the homepage, or the link in the right-hand sidebar of any other page.
  • Under “Register New Account” please click the link for “Log In”. This will direct you to a login screen where you will need to enter your previously created username/email and password. If you do not remember your password, please use the forgot password link at the bottom and to reset it.
  • Once you are logged in, you will be directed to a page to “Upgrade Your Membership”. Please select the membership level for which you wish to register for.
  • Complete your registration by clicking the “Register” button. You will be taken to the PayPal screen.
  • When you reach the PayPal screen, you will need to either login to PayPal or select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”. Proceedwith the regular PayPal payment process. Please note that PayPal is a secure method of payment. Credit and Debit card information is neither shared with the ADE nor stored on the ADE website.
  • Upon successfully completing your payment, you will receive an automated email message confirming your membership renewal. Checking Your Membership Information

  • Navigate to the footer or bottom of any of the ADE webpages. Under the section “Members” select, “Your Membership Information”
  • Membership status and invoices can be viewed here. Additionally, your personal data can also be updated here. Please note, changes will not be immediately reflected in the Member Directory. Membership renewal and/or upgrades can also be done here.

Accessing Members Only Content

  • Navigate to the footer or bottom of any of the ADE webpages. Under the section “Meta” select, “Login”.
  • You will be directed to a login screen where you will need to enter your previously created username/email and password. If you do not remember your password, please use the forgot password link at the bottom to reset it.
  • Once you are logged in, you will be able to navigate to those pages restricted to members. This includes the member gateway, and member directory. Future restricted content will include resources and guides to help members with editorial work, digital publication, and more.
